SCISSOR SHOWDOWN

Picture

Date: April 4th, 10:00 a.m. Business meeting to follow. Come at 9:30 to socialize.

Location: Cross and Crown Lutheran Church, 5475 Snyder Lane, Rohnert Park, CA 94928

Scissors are a very personal tool. What fits your hands and works for your projects may not work for someone else. So how do you choose a pair of scissors? With some models running close to $100, you need to try before you buy. But there are few opportunities for side-by-side comparisons. However, we are providing one.

In this presentation, members will tell you about the features, uses, tips, likes and dislikes about various makes and models of scissors. After the meeting you will get a chance to try out all the scissors and do your own side by side comparisons.

Note: Bring your own scissors from home. After the meeting we will have an engraver set up so you can engrave your name on your scissors ensuring they don’t get lost. (Not recommended for all scissors. Not responsible for errors. Engrave at your own risk. )
