Kayla Kennington's Workshop on Fabric Collage
Kayla helped us tap into our creativity and playfulness by conducting a workshop in fabric collage. She provided us with bags of silk scraps which we arranged on a muslin backing.  Some of us chose to insert batting between the scraps and the backing.  We were encouraged to allow the collage become what it wished to become.

Here are some collages after the fabrics were sewn down or quilted.
