KALYNN

OLESON

TRUNK SHOW

Date: August 1st, 10:00 a.m.

Location: TBD

Kalynn Oleson, SAQA member, Quilter, Quilt Artist, Jacket Maker and Fabric Player, will present a trunk show of her ArtWear Jackets. Kalynn will bring several jackets she has made and will comment on the successes and lessons learned in each. She chooses a sweatshirt for the base of the jacket because of its boxy shape and drop shoulder line, design elements which eliminate many fitting issues. Kalynn deconstructs the sweatshirt into one to five pieces for design: two front halves, one full back and two sleeves.

Each jacket Kalynn designed and constructed taught her something new to be used in the next jacket. Kalynn would love to share her interesting journey of design and discovery.

Please
