Retreat: 4 Day Workshop with Donna Greenwald: Techniques in Landscape Quilt Design
Date: July 24 – July 27 2019 Time: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm each day Location: Auburn Airport, 13666 New Airport Road, Auburn Cost: The $275 cost includes all four days of the workshop. Students are responsible for their own lunches. Class Outline Registration form Donna Greenwald is an internationally renowned Fiber Artist; she was one of the featured artists at Empty Spools 2018 and will be teaching the landscape workshop there in 2020. Donna was also the much-enjoyed Key Note Speaker at our 2018 Annual Meeting and instructor for a following one-day Poppy workshop.
After the wonderful trunk show Donna presented at the Annual Meeting and the fun those that attended the workshop had, many in our guild said that they would like to see us sponsor a full workshop. So, working together with Foothills Quilt Guild, we have been able to schedule this four-day workshop where Donna will instruct us through the same Landscape Design and Techniques class that she will be teaching at Empty Spools. At the workshop, students will work from their own phonographs or buy one of Donna’s patterns. Donna will also hold breakout sessions for different techniques; some have a kit fee, but are not required. A materials list will be provided at registration. The $275 cost includes all four days of the workshop. Students are responsible for their own lunches. Space is limited to 20 students. See Page 6 for registration.
