Community Service Sewing
Use Your Sewing Skills to Give Back to Your Community ASG Santa Rosa sponsors get-togethers where we make items to donate to non-profits and community organizations. Past items that we have made include quilts for Project Linus, pillowcases for Social Advocates for Youth, cough pillows for surgery patients, doll clothes for Stitchin' for Kids, pods for newborn babies at Marin General Hospital and walker bags for low-income seniors. Our members continually donate hours, skills and supplies to a variety of causes such as bird rescue, repairing fireman's protective gear and knitting hats for newborn preemies. |
