Do you only use your serger to finish seams? Learn how much more you can do. In this class we will learn to install zippers, sew hems and several more skills that unlock the potential of your machine. Bring your serger (all brands welcome) and your serger manual to learn all that you can do with your serger. Instead of making a book of samples you will make a few projects using the different types of stitches that are available on a standard serger. You have some fun, easy completed items to take home with you and a clear understanding of how your serger works.
Participants must know how to thread their serger. If you cannot thread your serger you may contact Janice Langan to arrange a threading lesson prior to the workshop. A supply list will be emailed to participants approx. 4 weeks prior to class.
Please bring your lunch. There will be a lunch break during the class.
