This beginner-friendly workshop is ideal for confident beginners and intermediate sewists who are comfortable using a sewing machine and reading basic patterns.
The goal of the class is for every participant to leave with a well-fitted lounge pants pattern that can serve as the foundation for many future styles. Most participants will also complete a finished pair of pants during the workshop.

Level: Beginner-friendly

In this designer sewing workshop, participants will learn the traditional techniques used in high-end garment construction while creating a fully lined jacket. Emphasis will be placed on precision, structure, and hand-finishing methods that elevate a handmade garment to designer quality.

Topics include fabric and lining selection, interfacing and underlining, shaping and structure, hand-finished linings, refined seam finishes, and designer pressing techniques. Students will leave with a deeper understanding of jacket construction and the skills to apply designer methods to future garments.
