Leggings Workshop with Lyra Bobo

This was a 2-day workshop. The first day we covered various pattern styling options, measuring, and editing our pattern to fit, utilizing a special measurement chart that participants were given during class.  Lyra shared books and videos to reference for our project. On the second day we covered construction methods, elastic application, and seam options using a basic sewing machine, serger, and cover stitch. For one of the demonstrations, Lyra showed us how we could cover stitch the leg seam of the leggings. For some, it was proof that it could be done, even if it was only a couple of inches at a time.  Below are some pictures of the progress.
