We will look at the various body types and how-to best balance each of these utilizing the elements and principles for effective garment design. Understanding how your body differs from the ideal will help you to create effective illusions with garment combinations, pattern styles, and fabric choices that disguise and enhance areas of your individual figure.

Along with the best clothing choices for your lifestyle we will also explore your Fashion Personality. Do you have a classic, sporty, natural, dramatic, romantic, or eclectic fashion personality? Evaluating your lifestyle and/or changes in life style will help you select one or two fashion personalities that suit you best and aid in selecting garments that enhance your life style.

Fabric selection is a luxury but sometimes a challenge for those of use that sew our own garments. It is however a vital part of effective clothing and style choices. Understanding of how fabric texture, color combinations, and the various print categories are perceived will enhance your ability to make the best garment and style choices.
