CHERYL KAUL: Padding Up a Dress Form

Presentation: Padding Up a Dress Form with Cheryl Kaul

Date:  Saturday, February 2nd, 10:00 a.m.  Come at 9:30 to socialize.
Business Meeting: 11:00 a.m.
Location:  Cross and Crown Lutheran Church,
5475 Snyder Lane, Rohnert Park

Have you felt like a contortionist trying to pin fit a garment on yourself? Have you needed a fitting buddy late at night? Or had no one to be your fitting buddy? Or does your buddy fit you differently than you prefer your clothes to fit? Do you have parts of your body that you like to camouflage? Then you need a dress form that is padded to mimic your figure with all of its uniqueness.

There are a myriad of methods to create a duplicate of your figure. Cheryl will review many of them and give us the advantages and disadvantages for each. She will then show us her preferred method for padding up a dress form using a t-shirt, cotton quilt batting, an ace bandage, a well-fitting bra, a pair of granny panties and some safety pins.  Even if you invest in a custom dress form that is an exact duplicate of your figure, you will need to know this skill in case your body changes either through weight gain or gravity.
